A 4-star hotel in Provence

Mas de l’Oulivié has received several awards recognizing its efforts to protect the planet:

• 2013: Joined the “Valeurs” program of the Alpilles Regional Nature Park
• 2022 Awarded the “Accueil Vélo” certification
• 2024 Commitment to the Clorofil initiative for calculating carbon footprint
• 2025 “Cozy Nests and Biodiversity” pilot program with the LPO

This is a national, state-owned certification awarded to businesses located in France’s regional nature parks.

It is based on a rigorous process (terms of reference, membership audit, commitment agreement) and helps foster a network of stakeholders who serve as ambassadors for the parks’ values. It is grounded in three core values:

• A Commitment to the Local Community: Prioritizing our region’s natural and cultural resources by participating in local initiatives and projects to support the economy.
• Respect for nature: choosing environmentally friendly raw materials, preserving landscapes and biodiversity
• The well-being of women and men: promoting responsible consumption patterns and combining traditional know-how with creativity to foster inclusive and socially responsible development.

In this regard, Mas de l’Oulivié is committed to:

• Provide customers with helpful advice on cycling routes,
• Be able to arrange for the transfer of luggage to the next place of lodging
• Provide a bike rental service (equipment and accessories),
• Provide on-site repair services to customers on bicycles and carry a complete repair kit for minor repairs,
• Have a secure bike shelter and access to charging outlets for batteries,
• Offer early-morning breakfasts, on-site dining, and picnic baskets.

To calculate our carbon footprint, we use the Clorofil tool, which employs the certified Bilan Carbone® method (measuring energy, purchases, waste, and transportation).

We have therefore committed to reducing our emissions by4,2%s per year through 2050 to help keep the global temperature rise below 1.5°C, as defined in the Paris Agreement.

Since 2024, we have been participating in the Peace & Work Program through our “TERITORIA” volunteer initiative, which focuses on the well-being of our employees.

An assessment of quality of life and working conditions is conducted using an anonymous questionnaire distributed to employees, which includes questions regarding corporate culture, team cohesion, pride in belonging, working conditions, and fairness.

A summary report with an action plan will be prepared to improve our social practices within our hotel.
