Discover the natural Park

With 16 municipalities, the Alpilles territory enjoys a remarkable natural, cultural, and historical heritage that must be preserved.

Since 2007, the Alpilles form a regional natural Park, neighbouring the Camargue and Luberon Parks, and constitutes a territory of about 50,000 ha. This limestone montain has an altitude of 2m to 498m with a great variety of landscapes.

To know all the activities, guided tours, conferences and natural constructions proposed by the Park and its partners, consult the Park’s interactive map.
From the Mas de l’Oulivié, hotel in les Baux de Provence, time to enjoy the beautiful weather, park your car and contemplate the landscape to discover our marvellous region on foot, bike or horseback. We’ve developped privileged partnerships with local profesionnals certified “Valeurs parc naturel régional” whom we invite you to contact to discover the numerous sports or cultural activities in our park.

At the Mas de l’Oulivié we’ve also chosen to work with local producers and crafstmen so that our guests can taste on a daily basis the best of the Alpilles’ products, (fruits, vegetables, olive oil, goat cheese, provencal pastries, wines, honeys, jams…). For that reason, we invite you to meet these producers.
